Howdy folks! Emo here with quite an overdue update. A few exciting kills have been added to Soulfire’s list of “Ya, we totally punk’d that,” and here they are.

First and foremost, the folks of Soulfire Salvage have succeeded in killing another boss (quite a few times now, and with more to follow)! Silver Sea Remnant’s Long-Armed Chariot gave us quite a work out over the past couple days, but also rewarded us with two upgraded Salvage pieces, as well as a number of 2/3’s for others!

Now, before I go and post the drops, I must let you know of amusement that is Long-Armed Chariot. You see, this guy (who looks like one of those clackers you get at parties to make noise, to me) has a habit of charming folks quite a bit. You punch him a little too hard and he’s like “hey… stop that,” and throws a charm on ya! Normally, a bunch of charmed people and a giant chariot would be an issue, but this is where we discovered our secret weapon: Tsukushi. Whether she liked it or not, Tsukushi soon became our sacrificial lamb, kiting around not only Long-Armed Chariot, but everyone who got charmed as well while we waiting for it to wear!

Quite an exciting boss if I do say so myself. And here are the drops we have received so far (excluding the run where my internet went out, again, right as we entered, which netted Avhienda fully upgraded Morrigan’s Cuffs and Kitiara a pair of Phobos’s gauntlets).

Next up is a NM who always seems to follow a similar pattern. If you ever go out hunting Biast, he will never pop. But, if you’re just wandering through Xarcabard, all by your lonesome, he’ll just be sitting there picking his nose! Well, that’s what happened this time! Luckily for us, we were able to rally the troops and kill him dead! Congratulations to Abbismal for his shiny new Patroclus’s helm!

And last, but definitely not least, good ole Fafnir.

As you can tell for this picture, Soulfire was able to successful claim Fafnir last night! The fight went exceptionally smooth, with few casualties (silly people pulling out the uber hate, you’re giving our Paladin’s a work out)! The drops weren’t overly spectacular, but having not seen a Fafnir claim in quite a long time they were very welcomed!

(And Veldez was on White Mage at this fight for those who didn’t know >_>; Go go Holy kill!)

There was also quite a display of uber lot-hax at work with these drops. Your reporter has some of the best lots on the server!
